A report by the UK charity Save the Children indicates that UN aid workers and peacekeepers in southern Sudan, Ivory Coast and Haiti are sexually abusing children.
The Charity called for setting up an international mechanism to deal with these cases in the post conflict areas. Meanwhile, the UN welcomed the report and said it will carefully study it. The report doses not mention the number of cases of sexual abuses of children in southern Sudan. Earlier a British newspaper, the Daily Telegraph published a report by UNCEIF accusing the involvement of some UN workers in cases of child sexual abuse in southern Sudan.
