Qazi urges GoNU to end Abyei crisis |

The Special Representative of United Nations Secretary General in Sudan Mr. Ashraf Qazi urged the Government of Sudan and GoSS to put an end to the Abyei crisis.
Speaking to the press on Monday after meeting with the President of the Government of South Sudan, Mr. Ashraf Qazi said Sudan Armed Forces and the Sudan People’s Liberation Army should pull out from Abyei to enable peacekeepers and humanitarian organizations do their work.
Mr. Ashraf Qazi said the situation in Abyei requires determination and political will from both parties to resolve the crisis.
