Upper Nile ends campaign to eradicate polio |

The Ministry of Health in the Upper Nile State in collaboration with World Health Organization and Non-Governmental Organizations ended a week-long massive campaign to eradicate polio in the State.
Speaking exclusively to Miraya FM the Director of Vaccination Program in the State’s Ministry of Health Dr. Peter Oganjok said, the campaign was a direct response to one case of polio reported in Akobo County after three years of the last reported case in southern Sudan.
Dr. Oganjok said that more than 3000 children are targeted in various communities in the Upper Nile State by more than 2000 health workers.
