The Communication Advisor on the Multi-donors Trust Fund, Jakob Kopperud, told Miraya FM that the donors’ pledges in Oslo will help rehabilitate Sudan.   Mr. Kopperud said that the Bank projects will continue in southern Sudan.

Meanwhile, upon his arrival from Oslo, the Minister of Presidential Affairs in the Government of Southern Sudan, Dr. Luka Biong, said that there are many joint projects between the both the governments of national unity and the southern Sudan to be implemented by the donations.

Dr. Biong said that the government of southern Sudan has its own plans for the south and the areas on the north-south borderline.

The Donor Second Conference held recently in the Norwegian Capital Oslo pledged almost five billion US dollars for supporting the Comprehensive Peace Agreement.
