Friday, 09 May 2008
The chairman of Alliance for the Re-Liberation of Somalia, Sheikh Sherif Sheikh Ahmed, accused the transitional government of committing war crimes.
He said that there’s no way he would negotiate with this government in the coming Djibouti conference.

In recent attacks, eye witnesses said that the Islamic Courts Insurgents on Thursday took control over a main police station in the Somali Capital Mogadishu where the transitional government rules.

The spokesman of the Islamic Courts, Abdulrahman Isa confirmed that one the insurgent was killed in that attack and two others were injured. But he said that they killed eight policemen.

According to him, the Islamic Courts also bombarded two Ethiopian troops military bases in
Mogadishu.
