Sudanese Journalists Union calls for amending press law |

The Sudanese Journalists Union called for amending the press law to cope with the constitutional developments in the country.
The Chairman of the Journalists Union, Mohye Eddine Titawi, told Miraya FM that within the coming days, the authority and the press will reach an agreement on lifting the pre-publication censorship. The Sate Minister of Information, Kamal Obeid, addressed the Press Freedom Day celebration that was held yesterday, and called on the United Nations to take more responsibility in protecting the press rights.
