The Census operations conclude today in all Sudan as announced.

The operations faced many challenges in a number of areas especially south
Sudan and Darfur.
Meanwhile, the statistics office in the Blue Nile State, announced that the disagreement between the office and the SPLM leadership in Al-Kurmuk locality is now resolved. The SPLM earlier refused to let the enumerators enter their barracks.

The Director of the Sate's statistics office, Hanan Ali Al-Sheik told Miraya FM that a delegation from the state government and the Joint Integrated Units (JIUs) leadership reached an agreement with the SPLA on counting the SPLA soldiers by a joint team from the statistics office and the JIUs. She pointed out that the team has started its duty since yesterday and is expected to finish today.
