The Zimbabwean opposition Movement for Democratic Change reiterated that it had won the presidential election against President Rupert Mugabe.
It considered the suggested second round of election unnecessary. The deputy chairman of the movement, Thuksani Kobi, told the press in Harare that the movement adheres to not organize a new round. But she didn’t close the door on the movement participation in it. She said that if the country goes for another round of election, the Movement for Democratic Change will win again and with a larger votes’ difference.
