Sudan meets Rwanda in its first match qualifying for the African Nations Cup |

In its first match qualifying for the African Nations Cup for local players, Sudan meets Rwanda on Sunday evening in Al-Mareikh Stadium in Omdurman.
This is Sudan team’s first official match since its participation in the Cup of African Nations in Ghana where the team scored zero goals and won no point. The African Football Union created this competition to give the African players a chance to show their talents. The Ivory Coast hosts the Cup finals scheduled for next year.
