The UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-Moon, called on the International Community to bring all the perpetrators attacking Journalists to be brought to justice.
In his statement released on the 60th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Mr. Ki-Moon said that attacks on the freedom of the press are attacks against the humanity and freedom itself.
The UN Secretary General said that he is alarmed at the way journalists are increasingly being targeted around the world.
The US authorities have meanwhile released the camera man of Al-Jazeera Television, Sami Al-Haj and other two Sudanese from the Guantanamo Bay prison on Thursday.
The other two are Amir Yaghoub and Walid Mohammed Al-Haj.
The released detainees are expected to be flown to Khartoum today by an American Military plane.
The Editors-in-Chief of the political newspapers are expected to sign today under the presence of Legislatures and government representatives a chat of a Press honor in accordance with the Interim National Constitution.
Speaking to Miraya FM, the editor-in-chief of Al-Ajaras newspaper, Murtada Al-Ghali, said that the signing of the chat is the first step for the lifting of the pre-publication censorship on the newspapers which had been imposed by the security organs.
