Several people demonstrated in Juba on Thursday on the International Labor Day at the Customs Market in Juba amid heavy security.  
The protesters were protesting against the demolition of the market in which most of the traders were from the neighboring countries the central Equatoria State authorities.

Many good were destroyed as bulldozers crushed down shops. 

The
Central Equatoria State said that the traders were occupying the place illegally.

Thousands of people protested worldwide on the International Labor Day demanding for the provision of conducive environment for living.

 
Thousands protested in the Philippine capital Manila calling for increase in their salaries.
