The situation in Al-Kharasana area between the Unity and the Southern Kordofan States is now calm following the signing of an agreemeny by the two States on Monday to contain the clashes in the area. Recently, there had been some clashes between Al-Misseriya and Dinka tribes which resulted in a number of casualties on both sides. Speaking to Miraya FM, leading member in Al-Misseriya General Union, Musa Hamadeen, stressed the importance of honoring the agreement.
