Convention of SPLM kicked off |

For the first time since the singing of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement in 2005 the convention of the Sudan’s People Liberation Moment (SPLM) kicked off today in the Upper Nile State.
More than 1000 delegates from 12 counties in the State are participating in the convention which is expected to last for three days. In his opening statement, a member of the interim National Council of the SPLM, Justice Ambruse Entick, called for cooperation and collaboration amongst the members of the movement. Mr. Entick said that the SPLM is fully committed to the Comprehensive Peace Agreement.
