Al-Misseriya's General Union calls for defusing tension with SPLM |

The General Union of Al-Misseriya called for defusing the tension between the tribe and the SPLA in Al-Kharasana area on the borders between South Kordofan and Abyei.
The Secretary General of the Union, Musa Hamadeen, asked the Joint Defense Board to intervene and end the insecurity in the area. Some armed clashes occurred between Al-Misseriya and the SPLA in Al-Kharasana resulting in a number of casualties.
Meanwhile, about nine hundred returnees from Khartoum to the Unity State are stuck in Feryang County in Kadugli since the last three days. This came as a result to the closure of the road between Kadugli and Bantiu due to the clashes between Al-Misseriya and the SPLA that broke out four days ago. An eye witness told Miraya FM that the road is still blocked.
