Peacekeeping forces in Congo possibly exchanges weapons for gold, UN sources says |

BBC has learned from private sources within the United Nations that Indian soldiers and Pakistani troops for peacekeeping in Congo Democratic may have swop weapons for gold and ivory.
The UN had investigated the accusations in 2007, revealed the BBC website according to sources from within the United Nations, and said that they were prevented from investigating the matter for political considerations. Miraya FM has attempted contact the United Nations Mission in Congo to comment on the news but failed to do so.
