Lakes State announces two-day curfew |

The government of Lakes State has announced imposing a two-day curfew in Rumbek town starting from 7 in the evening to 6 in the morning following renewed fighting between two clans of Dinka tribe at a cattle camp 25 kilometers from Rumbek town.
The clashes were said to be over the ownership of the cattle camp. In an exclusive interview with Miraya FM the Minister of Information in Lakes State Agad Chol Mabuony said the fighting took place late evening yesterday but he said, there have been no reports of casualties. Mr. Chol further added that the two days curfew has been imposed in order to bring calm and security to the area.
Dozens of people were killed and forty two others were injured in tribal clashes in Luak and Pakam areas in the Lakes State during the past two days.
