160 officers graduate in Wau |

160 officers from Southern Sudan Police Services (SSPS) graduated yesterday in Wau town in Western Bahr Al Ghazal state, after completing an international standard training course in the police work that lasted for two months.
Governor of Western Bahr el-Ghazal state Gen. Mark Nipoch, addressed the graduation festival, which was attended by Southern Sudan Police Services leaders and UNMIS representatives, and praised the UN role in the progress of Southern Sudan Police Services.
On the other hand a team from the UN Police HQ in NY ended an inspection visit of UNMIS police work in south Sudan and Darfur.
Colonel Fan Pillman a member of the Peacekeeping operations administration praised in his speech with Miraya FM the progress of the police work in south Sudan following the signing of the CPA, but he pointed out the importance of maintaining the cooperation between the Southern Sudan Police Services (SSPS) and the UN in training and infrastructure building.
