Law-maker in South complains of lack of census material |

A member of South Sudan Legislative Assembly, for Lopa Country in Eastern Equatoria, Wartisio Loluke Manir, has complained of the lack of essential census material and the small number of enumerators.
Speaking to Miraya FM by phone form Lopa county, Mr. Manir said that there was only one enumerator for every 300 houses as opposed to the 100 houses per one enumerator according to census regulations. He further said, the shortage of census material created anger among people.
In Abyei area, the SPLM chairman in the area Edward Lino assured Miraya FM that the census process is going smoothly. He stated that they rejected census to be carried out by enumerators by a group dispatched from Mujled town because they do not belong to the area, adding that the process is being carried out by enumerators from Abyei area.
