New policy to eradicate Malaria in south |

Director of Malaria control at the Ministry of Health in Upper Nile State, Mohammad Ahmed Jula told Miraya FM During a celebration of malaria week in Malakal, that the Ministry through the Government of South Sudan has designed a new policy in an effort to eradicate Malaria in the south.
Malaria is one of the major causes of death among children in Africa, which account for the large majority of the one million people who die of the disease every year.
Researchers say the illness, which is now endemic in most of sub-Saharan Africa, kills 3,000 children every day.
