At least 2 people were killed and 42 injured on Sunday in a car accident on the road between Laniya county and Bereka Payam, along the Juba-Yei road. Mr. Mathew Ofzeal, the radio operator working with Southern Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation Commission confirmed to Miraya FM that the injured people were admitted in Yei hospital while six of them are said to be in critical condition.

According to Mr. Ofezeal, the accident happened when a lorry transporting people for the Census to Unduruba Payam went off the road and overturned.
