At least three people have been reported killed and another wounded in a shooting incident in Malakal town on Monday.

Eye witnesses said the incident occurred when a man believed to be in his fourties opened fire killing his wife and his cousin instantly.

According to reliable sources, the gunman died when the house where the shooting took place burned down by an angry crowd.

Eyewitnesses reported the shooting occurred after the gunman caught his pregnant wife with another man who is also his relative and shot them both.

A policeman who ran to the scene to investigate was also shot and is badly wounded.
