The Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) announced its support for the decision made by the Government of Southern Sudan to postpone Sudan’s 5th Population and Housing Census.

Speaking to Miraya FM, the spokesperson of JEM, Ahmed Hussein, said that the decision is right especially that there are many unsafe areas in
Sudan such as Darfur.

Mr. Hussein said that peace should prevail first in
Darfur before conducting the Census.
