UN Police holds workshop for South Sudan Police Services in Wau |

The United Nations Police has conducted a one day workshop for the South Sudan Police Services in Wau town of Western Bahr el-Ghazal State.
Over 200 women from South Sudan Police participated in the workshop which focused on the role of women in policing. Ilias Ibrahim Minister of Local Affairs in Western Bahr el-Ghazal State said that the census will be a real challenge for the Police forces.
Addressing the conference, the Chief of Staff for UN Police, Alita Mbahwe, said that policing has been misconcepted as a profession restricted to men.
