Demonstration in Juba over the murder of a northern businessman |

A crowd of people demonstrated on Tuesday over the murder of Sulaiman Mustafa, a northern businessman in Juba.
The demonstrators comprised of family members and business people, marched from Malakia neighborhood, the residence of the murdered trader, up to the Juba Teaching Hospital. Speaking to Miraya FM, one of the residents at Mustafa’s home said that the 30-year old trader was shot dead on Tuesday morning by an unkown group of about five people. Other sources at the residence said that the attackers did not loot any property, but some injuries have been reported. Meanwhile, the United Nations Mission in Sudan has reported that rampaging armed men have recently carried out robberies in Juba town, which resulted in the loss of thousands of US dollars.
