SLM-Minnawi Faction denies nepotism accusations |

The Sudan Liberation Movement (SLM-Minnawi Faction) denied accusations made by Dr. Abdarahman Musa Bushara of the Darfur Free Will Movement that Minnawi is composing the Darfur Interim Authority from one tribe, the Zaghawa.
Dr. Bushara described Minnawi as not qualified and greedy for power. Speaking to Miraya FM, the spokesman of the SLM-Minnawi Faction, Saif-din Haron, said that such accusations are false. Meanwhile, the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM Khalil Ibrahim Faction) welcomed the proposal made by Idriss Azraq to convene a reconciliation conference in Darfur to find a united political vision to resolve the crisis. The JEM Idriss Azraq Faction earlier announced the convening of a Darfur reconciliation conference where the non-signatories to the Abuja Agreement, the United Nations, and the African Union will participate. The Secretary for Foreign Relations of the JEM Khalil Ibrahim’s Faction Abdel Hamid Haroun told Miraya FM that the agenda of such conference should also include the percentage of Power and Wealth Shearing. He said this is because of the current developments in the filed in Darfur.
