WHO: more than thousands infected with Tuberculoses |

The Representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Sudan, Mohammed Abdel-Rab, said that more than 10,000 people in the country are infected with Tuberculoses.
WHO said that about 40,000 people in Sudan which has been confirmed by 35% are expected to be infected by the disease.
Speaking to the press in Khartoum Abdel- Rab said that more than one million and seven hundred thousand people from 10, 000,000 are dieing from Tuberculoses annually in Asia and Africa.
Meanwhile, the Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Tabitha Butrus, said that her Ministry exerting efforts to face the challenges of the Tuberculoses.
