UN envoy calls to safeguard Somalia |

The UN envoy to Somalia Ahmed Walid Abdella has warned the international community not to neglect the worsening situation in Somalia.
The envoy urged the UN to send a UN Peacekeeping force to the country to maintain peace, and to end human rights violations. The UN had earlier extended the mandate of the African Union force to Somalia for another six months.
