Political will guarantees Sudan-Chad peace |

President Omer Al Bashir and his Chadian Counterpart Idriss Deby have signed a new peace deal after one day of signing a former agreement.
Both president promised commitment to the agreement in support of stability in Sudan and Chad. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Senegalese President Abdoulaye Wade and Gabon’s President Omar Bongo and the United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki Moon.
In his part, the spokesperson of the Sudanese foreign ministry Ali Alsadiq, told Miraya FM that Senegal and Gabon will monitor the implementation of the deal, adding that the political will between the two countries will be the guarantee.
