The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) rejected the proposal made by the Chairman of the National Umma Party Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi that the Naivasha agreement needs to be reviewed.
The Minister of Presidential Affairs in the government of southern Sudan Dr. Luka Biong told Miraya Fm that reviewing the agreement is out of the question.
He called on the Sudanese parties to help in the democratic transformation process and prepare for the forthcoming elections.
Moreover, Dr. Biong said that the First Vice President Salva Kiir Mayardit will soon visit Darfur as part of the SPLM’s initiative to resolve the crisis in the region.
