300,000 tones of grains transport to Lakes State |

About 300,000 tones of grains have been transported from Northern Sudan and have arrived in Lakes State capital Rumbek.
The grains will be distributed in all counties of the State so that it will be easy for the local population to get access of buying at the subsidized prices.
The deputy governor of the Lakes State and who is also the Minister of local government and Law enforcement Agencies, Awan Guol Riak, said that the State was devastated by the flood last year.
Guol Riak further said that the price of the bag of one hundred kilograms grain will be 500 Sudanese pounds and nobody will be allowed to increase prices despite distance of other counties the prices are going to be the same and will be the responsibility of the state government to transport grains to the far counties.
He further pointed out that as soon the provision of storage of grains in all counties finished, the distribution of grains to the counties will immediately commence.
