Ivory Coast and Ghana stepped up to the semi-finals of Africa Cup of Nations hosted by Ghana.
Ivory Coast cruised into the semi-finals after demolishing Guinea with a 5-0 win.
Abdel-Kader Keita opened the scoring in the 25th minute. Didier Drogba made it two in the 70th and Salomon Kalou netted twice in the space of nine minutes between the 73rd and 81st. Substitute Bakary Kone added the fifth goal for Ivory Coast four minutes from time.
Ivory Coast will play next either Egypt or Angola.
In previous match, tournament hosts Ghana came from behind to earn a semi-final place with victory over Nigeria 2-1.
Nigeria took the lead on 35 minutes through a Yakubu Aiyegbeni penalty, but Michael Essien equalized on the stroke of half-time. Ghana were reduced to 10 men on the hour, as captain John Mensah was sent off. But Ghana continued to attack, and with eight minutes remaining, Junior Agogo scored to send the hosts to semi-finals.
Ghana will play the winner from Cameroon and Tunisia Match.
