Seven African presidents discussed in the Libyan capital of Tripoli their agendas for the African Union summit, and their views on how to overcome the problems facing the African continent.
That came in a mini-summit with the Libyan President Col. Mu’ammar Al-Ghaddafi.
The summit also comprised the Sudanese President, Omer Al-Bashir, Chadian President, Idirs Deby, Egyptian President, Housni Mubarak, Senegalese President Abdullah Wad, Eritrean president, Isaias Afworki, and Gabonese President Omar Bango.
The meeting discussed the situation in Darfur, and the tense relations between Sudan and Chad.
Moreover, the African Presidents discussed forming a federal African government, which the Libyan President Al-Ghaddafi previously proposed in the African Union summit in Ghana last July.
