The Sudanese government condemned what it considered a continuous Chadian harassment against Sudan, and called the Chadian government to respect the signed agreements between the two countries.
Talking to Miraya FM, Ali Al-Sadiq, the Spokesperson of Ministry of Foreign Affairs accused Chad of supporting the Sudanese rebels, especially Justice and Equality Movement.
More than 20 people died and about 2000 houses were burned down in an attack led by an unknown group in western Darfur.
Abdul Aziz Nour Osher, a Field Commander, accused in his talk with Miraya FM, some militias associated with the government, as he put it, of committing the attack.
Osher appealed to the UN and AU, and the international community to conduct investigations on what he calls as "genocide" in the region.
