A High level delegation of the National Congress and the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement, headed by Minister of Cabinet Affairs Pagan Amoun and Defense Minister Abdul Rahim Mohamed Hussein, is expected to meet the leaders of the Misseriya in Al Mairam today.

Speaking to Sudan News Agency, SUNA, the chief of Misseriya, Mukhtar Babo Nimir, said both parties will discuss the solution to the latest incidents between the Misseriya and the SPLM.

The Joint delegation will also head to Awiel in Northern Bahr El Ghazal for the same purpose. The conflict between a Misseriya group and the SPLM in the region killed tens of people some days back.
