Agaar community in Rumbek town conducts a reconciliation conference in the town |

The Rumbek Youth Union has been conducting a one week Agaar community reconciliation conference in Rumbek town of the Lakes State.
The meeting aims at resolving issues of insecurity and internal conflicts among the Agaar people in the three counties of Rumbek North, Central and East, in the State.
The Lakes State’s government reporter, Manyang Mayom, told Miraya FM that several thousands of Agaar people, including women and children, gathered in Rumbek Central for this conference.
The Rumbek Youth Union is a youth association supported by the State Ministry of Information, Culture, Youth and Sports which brings together all the Agaar youths in the three counties.
