President Omar Al-Bashir conducted deliberations on Saturday with his French counterpart, Nicola Sarcoxie, on Darfur crisis.

The French Presidency said in a statement that the discussion included, in particular, the delay of the deployment of the Joint United Nations-African Union forces in Darfur and the European forces in Chad.

The statement also said that Sarcoxie reiterates his readiness to find a political solution to the crisis as soon as possible and work to calm the situation on the Sudan-Chad borderline.
