The Ministry of Animal Resources and Fisheries said that it imported a million vaccination doses to immunize the national herd against the Rift Valley Fever.

The Minister of Animal Resources, Retired Brigadier Golwak Ding, said the vaccination teams have started the campaign on the nineteenth of November in the suspected states.

He affirmed that the samples taken to the laboratories in South Africa tested negative for the Rift Valley Fever virus.
