The Governor of  Blue Nile State, Malik Aggar, declared Al-Kurmuk as the state’s capital from the beginning of next February to April next year.

During his speech to the public in Al-Kurmuk, he ordered the police and security organs, public prosecutors and courts to immediately resume their duties.

He also urged the employees in the locality headquarters to carry out their duties with full commitment and attendance.
