The Khartoum State police have seized on Wednesday a large number of illegal arms stored in Omdruman market.

The police said that more than 300 pistol guns, in addition to large number of munitions were also collected.

Speaking to reporters, the Khartoum State Police Assistant Inspector, Lt. Gen. Mohammed Nejib, said that they arrested the owner of the store and filed a criminal case against him.

He added that the campaign against illegal arms will continue all over the Khartoum State.
