Ministry of Health in South Sudan announces health survey results |

The Directorate of research planning and Health System in the Ministry of health in South Sudan has launched a report on Sudan household Health Survey at Beijing Hotel in Juba.
Speaking to Miraya FM, Dr. Olivia Lomoro, Executive Director of Sudan Health Survey said the Survey is importance for policy makers.
“The Sudan house hold survey is one of the surveys that have been conducted following the Comprehensive Peace Agreement, which covered all the country, specifically South Sudan including the 25 states." said Olivia. "
It is a joint activity with the North. It tells us were we are starting from, it provides information that are valuable for policy makers. So, when we plan to reconstruct our country, we know where were starting from.” The survey report evolves around health issues and the level of awareness in the entire Sudan.
We have several information, we have data on maternal mortality, data on child mortality, that is, infant, neo natal and defy mortality, knowledge on HIV/AIDS, Data on Maralia, in insecticide fitted net, we have data on immunization, whether our children are fully immunized how many percentage of our children can access vaccines immunization.”
