NDA bloc in parliament launches a fierce criticism against the 2008 draft budget |

The National Democratic Alliance bloc in the parliament launched a fierce criticism against the draft budget for the year 2008 which is being discussed in parliament these days.
Bloc member, Farouq Abu Issa, told Miraya FM that the new budget contains many loopholes in addition to imposing more taxes that the poor can not afford.
He said that the bloc is working to torpedo the new draft budget.
In a statement to Miraya FM the Secretary-General of Chamber of Industry, Dr .Al Fatih Abass, said the increase in the value added tax in the new budget will affect the economic sector and the people in a direct way.
Dr. Babikir Muhammed Tom, the Deputy Chairman of the Economic Subcommittee in parliament, described the discussion within the committee as good and positive for the economic and services sectors.
