SPLM accepts IGAD's invitation for the meeting on the crisis between the SPLM and NCP |

Mr. Amum said that the SPLM has received an invitation from the countries of the Inter-Governmental Authority on Development (IGAD) to discuss the present crisis between the movement and the National Congress Party. He said that the SPLM welcomed the invitation and will participate in the meeting.
However, the Spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry, Ali Al-Sadiq, said that the government rejected the interference of the IGAD in the crisis between the SPLM and the NCP. He added that the statement of President Al-Bashir regarding the non-interference of foreign countries is final.
