The Justice and Equality Movement has refused the deployment of Chinese Forces in Darfur, saying that China provides the arms to the Sudanese Government.
Haroun Abdul Hamid, the Spokesperson of the movement told Miraya FM that China sent these troops to protect its oil interest.
Haroun said : “the Chinese Government is a beneficiary when they buy the Sudanese oil with low price and sell arms to the Sudanese government with high prices and support them with arms. Therefore, the Chinese government had to change its position so as to be accepted by the marginalized people.”
China has two days ago sent more than three hundred soldiers of an engineering unit to Darfur as part of the Joint AU-UN troops.
