The tripartite joint meeting between Sudan, Ethiopia, and the United Nations High Commission of Refugees (UNHCR), concluded its meeting in Khartoum.
The meeting came out with recommendations on the voluntary repatriation of Sudanese refugees from Ethiopia.
Speaking to Miraya FM, the Sudanese Commissioner for Refugees, Dr. Mohammed Al-Agbash, said that more than fifty five thousand (55,000) refugees are expected to return home by the year 2008.
He attributed the obstacles to the voluntarily repatriation to the donors’ failure to fulfill their pledges to Sudan.
