Over twenty Internally Displaced People (IDPs) mainly professionals in Education and Health sectors have arrived on Wednesday in Wau town of the Western Bahr El Ghazal State from Khartoum.

The 23 IDPs were received at the Wau airport by representatives from the State Government and the United Nations Agencies.

Sources from the UN bodies said this first batch of intellectuals will be followed on Thursday by a second batch of 14 people.
