President Al-Bashir addresses NCP's General Conference today |

 President Omer Al-Bashir is addressing today the opening of the second round of the National Congress Party's General Conference in Khartoum.
The conference convenes for three days, and will be attended by six thousand participants from the various States of Sudan.
The NCP Shura Council, on Monday, underlined peace as a strategic option and expressed their willingness to keep the political partnership with the SPLM in order to ensure the economical, social and political stability.
The council called the SPLM to activate the CPA mechanisms to address and resolve any difficulty in understanding or implementing the acts of the peace deal. It further called for running the elections on their specified time as mentioned in the CPA.
