African Union denies setting a date for the resumption of Darfur peace talks |

The African Union said that it has not specified a date for the resumption of direct talks between the government and the Darfur factions which rejected the Abuja Agreement. The African Union Spokesperson, Nur El-Din Al-Mazini, described news reports which said the talks will resume at the beginning of the next year as mere media speculations.
