Sudan has handed a memorandum to the European Union accepting the deployment of European troops on the Chadian and Central African Republic’s side of the border, but not on the Sudanese side.
Ambassador Ali al-Sadik told Miraya FM that the deployment of the European troops in the two neighboring countries is an internal affair, adding that Sudan will not allow any outside interference in the Darfur problem.
The United Nations will hold deliberations on the budget of the Joint United Nations-African Union Forces expected to be deployed to Darfur in January.
Abdul Mahmoud Abdue Halim, Sudan’s Permanent Envoy to the United Nations, revealed that all the administrative sectors of the United Nations will meet for three days to prepare a draft budget.
