The Washington's Statement that Khartoum is having no good faith over the deployment of the joint UN/AU Forces to Darfur is null and void, says the spokesman of the Sudanese Foreign Ministry.
Speaking to Miraya FM the spokesman of the Foreign Ministry, Ali Sadiq, says the Sudanese government is in full co-operation with the UN regarding this matter.
He says that the statement made by Washinton "is valueless and the government should not be blame".
UN delays the deployment of the forces
The UN said that it is worried because the Sudanese government has no good faith in the deployment of the joint peacekeeping forces in Darfur.
However, Mr. Sadiq said, "we have agreed on resolution 1769 in details".
He threw the blame on the UN saying that it is the one delaying the deployment of the international forces to Darfur.
"We prepared all the needs to welcome the Hybrid Forces without any disagreement with the African Union and the United Nations," said Al-sadiq.
Meanwhile, the US said that it is working for a quick deployment of the joint peacekeeping forces to Darfur.
Sirte talks
The spokesman of the African Union Mission in Sudan (AMIS), Nur Din Mazni, told Miraya FM that the peacetalks between the Sudanese government and the Darfur rebels will take place in the Libyan town of Sirte.
Mazni said that the peace process which started in Sirte was a decision taken by the Secretary General of the UN and the Commissioner of the chairman of the African Union.
"But consultations can be made in other areas, but the political proces is in Sirte," said Mazni.
However, the Justice and Equality Movement as well as the Sudan Liberation Movement are continuing with their meetings in Juba aiming to form one leadership.
An official source said that the meetings are crucial which might seal the unification process.
Nine Darfur Factions eralier this week united under the Sudan Liberation Movement and the others under the Justice and Equality Movement.
The factions said that they were uniting thier political and military wings.
