The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is registering Internally Displaced People (IDPs) in parts of the Central and Eastern Equatoria States to repatriate them back to their homes, says the head of the IOM Office in Juba, Mary Gudice.
Thousands of IDPs awaits repatriation
Ms. Gudice said that seven thousand of the registered IDPs are Nimule.
"We have completed an intention survey in Nimule, Kajokeji, and Labone," said Ms. Gudice.
She said that communities that wish to move back home will be given enough time to make personal arrangements to move on voluntary bases.
"And now our teams are out in Nimule registering the IDPs who wish to return voluntarily," she says.
